A highly effective medium for directly addressing citizens' grievances and problems is Janata Darbar (Public Meeting).

Since 1995, from the very beginning of his ministerial tenure, Hon. Shri Ganesh Naik has consistently engaged with the public through Janata Darbar, fostering direct and transparent communication alongside economic development.

As a result, Janata Darbar has become synonymous with Shri Ganesh Naik, a widely accepted equation. Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi envisions good governance with a clear goal of public welfare. To achieve this vision, Hon. Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis has played a significant role in establishing an efficient and accountable administration.

In line with this, Janata Darbar is a remarkable initiative that instills confidence and reassurance in citizens, ensuring that their concerns are promptly addressed. While official matters are addressed at the Mantralaya (State Secretariat), the Janata Darbar is conducted at the district, subdistrict, or local city level, where officials meet citizens directly. The primary objective of Janata Darbar is to listen to the citizens' problems firsthand and provide immediate solutions on the spot. Through Janata Darbar, citizens’ long-pending issues are resolved, strengthening their trust in the government’s processes.

Simultaneously, the administration is held accountable for completing tasks efficiently and within the stipulated time. This initiative accelerates the decision-making process of governance, making Janata Darbar an effective bridge between the government and the people. Hon. Shri Ganesh Naik envisions a day when all citizens' concerns are resolved to such an extent that no individual needs to attend the Janata Darbar for grievances. Only then will the true purpose of Janata Darbar be fully accomplished, bringing immense satisfaction to him.
